What types of securities are available for purchase on TieUpNow?
From Green-tech to Frisbee leagues, you can invest in companies that cover almost all range of industries. Securities are most commonly available in the form of stocks; however, some companies also raise revenue through Debt, convertible notes and revenue share. You will always have a multitude of options to choose from while investing at any given time.

How much Can I invest?
With Regulation A+, a non-accredited investor can only invest a maximum of 10% of their annual income or 10% of their net worth per year, whichever is greater. There are no restrictions for accredited investors.
With Regulation Crowdfunding, non-accredited investors with an annual income or net worth less than $107,000, are limited to invest a maximum of 5% of the lesser of the two amounts. For those with an annual income and net worth greater than $107,000, he/she is limited to investing 10% of the lesser of the two amounts.

How do I classify myself as an accredited or a non-accredited investor?
If you have a net worth of at least $ 1 Million (excluding your primary residence) or have a yearly income of $2000,000- $ 300,000 (If with Spouse), then you are an accredited investor. Anyone else who doesn’t fall under these categories is non-accredited investors.

Who can invest in Tie-up Now?
Anyone who is 18 years or more in legal age can invest. For individuals below 18 years of age, a parent can invest in your name by setting up a trust or UTMA.

What’s my ROI (Return on Investment)?
TieUpNow only helps companies raise capital by effective coordination between the innovators and the investors. Once the offerings are closed, TieUpNow no longer offers any insight into what the ROI would be. Neither does TieUpNow provide any financial advice. If you would want to monitor the performance of the company that you have invested in and want precise information on the ROI, it would be advisable to consult a financial advisor for the same.

What is the difference between Regulation Crowdfunding Regulation A+?
Both Title III (Regulation Crowdfunding) and Title IV (Reg A+) help entrepreneurs crowdfund capital investments from unaccredited and accredited investors. The difference between the two are based on factors such as cap on the capital amount that a company can raise, the amount of investment that an investor invests, etc.

How do I find more information about a company?
Both Regulation Crowdfunding and Regulation A+ companies’ details can be found on our campaign page. The financial information of the Regulation crowdfunding companies under the ‘Terms’ tab of the campaign page whereas for the Regulation A+ companies, the same can be found in the offering circular which would be attached to the campaign page.

Why am I required to disclose my Social Security Number (SSN)?
We understand your apprehension towards disclosing the Social Security Number (SSN), however, this is a mandatory requirement due to anti-money laundering regulations and to guard against fraud checks.

What happens when the capital required by the company is not raised?
In case if the company is not able to raise the required investment, all invested amount will be returned to the investors in 10 business days after the offer closes.

How do I cancel my investment?
In case you are a Regulation crowd-funder, then you can cancel your investment at any point prior to 48 hours before the scheduled campaign closure.
For Regulation A+ investor, TieUpNow allows for a 4-hour cancellation period. Post this, it’s the respective company’s cancellation policy that takes effect. The company’s cancellation policy can found in the offering circular of the campaign.
